Flexibility

In today’s world, employees are not only juggling workplace commitments, they’re also trying to fulfill family and personal obligations. At Watkins Meegan, we understand that you need balance in your life. It’s that knowledge that compelled us to make workplace flexibility a top priority, so you can achieve work-life success.

Career Diversity
At Watkins Meegan, some of our professionals love tax work, while others prefer audit. Our employees often start their careers in one industry or service group and end up somewhere entirely different. This type of professional growth and development is encouraged with our flexible working environment.

Schedules
Whether you love the mornings or prefer to work in the evening, you can choose the schedule to best fit your life. Some employees arrive later in the morning because they drop off their kids at school. Others attend continuing education classes at night, so they plan an early arrival at the office. Whatever the reason, we trust our employees to fulfill their commitments to the firm and to themselves.

Paid-Time Off (PTO)
At Watkins Meegan, sick leave, personal leave and vacation are combined into one category – paid-time off. We eliminated the various categories to give our employees the ability to decide how and when to use their time off – whether it’s for a mid-day doctor’s appointment or a weeklong vacation.

Location
Washington, DC, is known for its traffic problems. By operating four offices in the region from Herndon, Va., to Annapolis, Md., we positioned ourselves close to where our employees live so their commutes are as easy and stress-free as possible.
